If the integration was successful, your red dot will turn green.

2. Set option fields

Actionset ID - The Actionset ID allows you to run an action set on a contact record. Select the page that you want to trigger the Actionset from the drop down. The action set must already be configured inside of Infusionsoft.

Customfield ID - This is the customfield in Purlem that is associated with the contact's Infusionsoft ID. Although not requried, it will help to associated the contact in Purlem with the appropriate contact in Infusionsoft.

PURL Field Name - The Infusionsoft customfield database name where you would like the PURL to be stored. (see comments for more details)

How the integration works...

When a person visits their PURL, Purlem will communicate with Infusionsoft and try to find the matching contact. It will first try to match the Infusionsoft ID with the Customfield ID defined in the Integration settings. If a match is not found, it will then attempt to identify the correct contact by the Email, and finally by the First and Last Name. If the contact is still not identified, Purlem will create a new contact in Infusionsoft and given a PURL: Created tag.

Once Purlem has located the contact in Infusionsoft it will:

Create a tag category in Infusionsoft named PURL, add the page result tag to the PURL tag category, and log the activity in the contact's note section

If the Visitor's email is added to Infusionsoft:
The marketing status of the email will be change to: Single Opt-In

If the Actionset ID is defined, Purlem will also:
Trigger the identified actionset in Infusionsoft.

If the PURL Field Name is defined, Purlem will also:
Add the visitors PURL to the defined custom field in Infusionsoft.

Finding the Infusionsoft customfield database name

If you are looking for the Infusionsoft customfield database name (the customfield where you would like the PURL to be added to), go to the Custom Fields for the Contact Record page in Infusionsoft.

You can access this page in Admin > Settings. You see an option for Custom Fields. Select Contact from the dropdown and select Go.

On the next page, select the View the field database names (for the API).
