I created Purlem after seeing a need in the marketplace for a clean, sophisticated, and affordable Personalized URL solution.
I was first introduced to PURLs when looking to promote my fledgeling web consulting business. I wanted to target local businesses with postcards, and a friend suggested I use PURLs to better track my marketing efforts and increase response rates. After researching different options, I found that I would have to cough up at least $8,000 with an annual commitment to use these “PURL” things.
I saw potential in PURLs, I thought to myself “how hard can this be.” I put my developer hat on and started creating my own personalized URL platform. What started out as a simple solution to my problem turned into a business of its own, and provided me with a lifestyle I cherish.
